"An Introduction to Child-Centered Play Therapy" 

This popular 3-day professional development workshop offers course participants an introduction to Child-Centered Play Therapy, with this being a very unique, deeply heartfelt, relational way of being with children. This series of two presentations is available for ongoing professional development for CCPT play therapists.

Presentation Title:

“Growing Child-Centered Play Therapy Up” – The Core Conditions with Older Children, Adolescents and Beyond!

Presentation/Series Description:

Two 90-minute presentations will explore the challenges and possibilities in providing child-centered play therapy (CCPT) for older children aged 10-12, and person-centered play therapy (PCPT) for adolescents and other persons across the lifespan. The two-part presentation will address modifications of CCPT with older children, and “growing play therapy up” (PCPT) for troubled adolescents as well as how to extend PCPT work with adults. The focus is on the core conditions across ages and populations.
